THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED!

There is a girl that sits at the back of the classroom, shuffling through her papers and generally moving along with the day. However, you notice that sometimes she starts to smile, her eyes looking forward, her mind on other things while the mouth explains all. You look behind yourself and wonder what she is smiling at.

Did it ever occur that she's smiling at you?

ZOMK WICKED WAS THE FREAKING BOMB!

Go to Chicago and do whatever you can to go see Wicked! Even get a job as an usher and seat people and then sneak and the back and watch the show! Even get an Invisibility Cloak and slip in! Anything! Do it!

After 4 days of camping (something that is NOT my forte) we went to Chicago and saw the musical, and I loved it. It totally made up for the vacation beforehand!

In other news...

I read the books Baby Be-Bop (very good and insightful) Cherokee Bat and the Goat Guys (cool storyline and characters) over the car ride to Wisconsin and Chicago. Both are by Francesa Lia Block, and I recommend them both. Also, I read Thumbsucker by Walter Kim, and recommend it if your are openminded, because if you aren't, you'll be kinda "eek"ed by it. And I finished For Whom the Bell Tolls for school... boring in some parts, good in others. But not worth reading for fun.

Wheee weapon practice tomorrow in guard! ^^ I hope I do well, I haven't practiced in a while. I'll do so tomorrow if it isn't so hot (upper 90's today!)

Also, I had a raspberry mocha frappachino at Starbucks while at Barnes and Nobles, and it was fantastic. I added some honey to it because I lurve honey. ^^ Try it sometime!

If you have any book or movie or anything recommendations, tell me, I love reading and watching new stuff. I just watched some On the Lot (reality TV show about short films- pretty good stuff) and am onto new stuff.

For more updates, check out my lj- [link] . It's fun. ^^

All you have to do is just say hi.

Hah, Wicked was all right, we saw it in London, it was well done, but the whole musical was just too simple. Things I would recommend? Well, I was just listening to Assassins, fabulous musical, not my absolute favorite, but it is enlightening... and also The Scarlet Pimpernel, which is cute, although I really do think that Marguerite should have gone with Chauvelin, given the choice. Beauty and the Beast, I got that from the library... not really that spectacular, very like the movie, very simple, but cute. Terrence Mann has a wonderful voice. That's how I found some of these, anyway. I wish all the best musical performers weren't getting old... and then I also watched A Chorus Line, and that was cute to a certain extent, though could have been much better. That's about it... No summer reading yet. =P

Assassins? Sounds... interesting. Hm, I'll have to check that out. Scarlet Pimpernel too... have you seen Funny Girl though? It's a cute musical too, if you're into that.

Yes, I'm not the best. I know it. But I love it- if I were the best, I'd have freaky fans. *runs screaming from imaginary fans*

Broadway? Like, as in NYC? *explodes* SQUEE!

BTW, my brother gets to go to the DCI coming soon! My guard instructor said we should go, but I don't have the money... GRRR!
